The Climate Contingency Directorate's forecast indicates a low of 6°C for this Sunday. What's forecast for the start of the week in Mendoza?

This Saturday in Mendoza , heavy rains were the main event, flooding homes, downed trees, road closures, and people requiring medical emergencies. A similar day is expected for the last Sunday of August , an attempt to improve on the run-up to Spring.

An "orange alert for storms and winds" is once again in effect across Mendoza, excluding only the department of Malargüe, according to the Climate Contingency Directorate. In the meantime, we recommend taking precautions and avoiding the terrible weather that occurred the day before.

The Directorate of Agriculture and Climate Contingencies predicts a "mostly cloudy" Sunday with a drop in temperature. A high of 12°C and a low of 6°C are forecast, accompanied by light southerly winds and precipitation in the morning. Improvements are expected in the Andes.

In south-central Mendoza, strong winds will be present , calling for caution. The north , meanwhile, will be the region that will need to take preventive measures for the downpour.

On Monday, September 1, temperatures will rise sharply in anticipation of spring. It will be partly cloudy , with a high of 19°C and a low of 5°C . Winds will be moderate from the northeast. Cloudy conditions are also expected in the Andes.
